On Friday 16ÌýApril, all students from YearsÌý7-12 competed in the first annual interhouseÌýc°ù´Ç²õ²õÌýcountry event. This was the first time Carmel had run a whole school long distance event of this nature and the students can be proud of their effortsÌýin completing the 3km course. A specialÌýmazal tov toÌý´Ç³Ü°ùÌýyear level champion runners, and to Jake R (10 min 25s) and Ailee Mae G (11 min 10s) for taking out the fastest times for the course.ÌýÌý

Interschool cross country will be held at Perry Lakes Reserve in Week 7 of this term and is open to the top four finishers for each category.Ìý
